Hospital-related statistical information: Statistics on Specialized Healthcare Centres

Since 2006 we have been working, by consensus with the autonomous regions and the Ministry of Defense, in the reform of the Statistics of Health Establishments providing Inpatient Care (ESCRI), consisting of adjusting the data collection instruments (questionnaire and definitions manual) of the ESCRI to the changes that are ocurring in the area of Specialized Care.

In 2011 the statistical operation Health Establishments providing Inpatient Care changed its name to Statistics on Specialized Healthcare Centres. (RD 1708/2010 of 17^th December, which approves the annual Program 2011 of the PEN 2009-2012).

The implementation of the Statistics on Specialized Healthcare Centres (ESCRI Reform) is being carried out in 2012 for the data of 2010.
